Virtual Coffee Morning
23 Feb 2026
Thank you so much for joining this morning’s virtual Parents' Coffee Morning. It was such a warm, honest and nourishing space. Your shares, reflections after the meditation, and openness made it really special. 💛
We all know how quickly life can pull us in every direction. Before we burn out, one of the kindest things we can do for ourselves (and our teens) is to build in small daily moments of calm.
Try to take just 5-10 minutes each day to calm down through meditation. It really does minimise burnout, even if it feels impossible some days because we’re so busy. Start tiny: maybe first thing in the morning, during a quiet coffee break, or right before bed. The key is consistency over perfection.
Remember: happy teen starts with happy parents.
We need to take care of our own mental health first. It’s not selfish, it’s essential. When we model calm and emotional balance, our teens feel it too.
Looking forward to seeing some of you in the WhatsApp groups. Feel free to join the wellbeing boosting or skills building group whenever you’re ready.

We want to thank everyone who joined us for our very first gathering. It was a beautiful reminder that while we juggle work, family, and endless to-do lists, we truly don’t have to do it alone.
On Friday, 23 January, we officially launched our brand-new Parents Wellbeing Programme at the Nottingham Central Library Café. It was a morning filled with gentle care, shared experiences, and much-needed "me time" for parents who spend so much of their lives pouring into others.
We were incredibly fortunate to have Sehrish Sarwar, founder of NeuralTrance Therapy Ltd. joined us in this meetup.
This was just the beginning! Our Parents' Wellbeing Gatherings are now a monthly fixture. We’ll be continuing to mix things up with:
In-House Sessions: Cosy coffee mornings, gentle walks, or mindfulness.
Community Exploration: Visiting existing wellbeing events across Nottingham.
Missed this one? Don’t worry! We’d love to have you at our next monthly meetup.
