The festive vibes, incredible products, and strong sense of community made this year's Christmas Market a monumental success!

We extend our sincerest gratitude to every visitor who came out, supported our young creatives, and embraced the holiday cheer. Seeing the talent and dedication poured into every handcrafted product was truly inspiring.

This event was a powerful celebration of young talent and community spirit. Thank you for making it the best one yet! 

We’re so proud of the young people who shone in last Saturday’s orienteering event! They displayed impressive navigation skills and teamwork through various roles. We were especially amazed by one team member’s sharp observation—spotting a broken control point from just a tiny corner!

Feedback forms revealed everyone loved the event, feeling energized and confident. Parents also found the wellbeing session, led by our empowerment coach, truly inspiring.

The event concluded with a lucky draw, and we’re thankful to young participants from last year’s makers markets for donating prizes. Two winners secured free spots in our October handcrafted skincare workshop—stay tuned on Facebook and our website for details!

Huge congratulations! The Money Mindset Workshop has come to a fantastic close with outstanding success! Participants loved diving into the Minecraft theme, having tons of fun as Nottingham Navigators and villagers while mastering financial skills. The post-survey highlights a positive impact—not only on their money mindset but also on their goals and future dreams!

At Bridge Builders, we’re thrilled to align with our mission: developing essential life skills, enhancing mental well-being, and building meaningful connections—within themselves and with others. This workshop equipped young people with valuable tools, uplifted their spirits, and strengthened their sense of community.

This initiative, generously funded by the National Youth Agency, has proven to be a highly impactful programme dedicated to cultivating essential soft skills in young people. Through a series of nine engaging sessions, the programme skillfully fostered collaboration, critical thinking, and a vital growth mindset among its participants.

Based on a comparison of pre-survey and post-survey data, the benefits observed were numerous and significant. Young people emerged with increased confidence, sharpened goal-setting skills, and a renewed sense of motivation to pursue their aspirations. Overall, the event was a resounding success in achieving its aims.

This quiet market, initially disappointing, offered our young creators invaluable lessons. They learned that running a business means not always earning a profit, a tough but crucial reality check.

However, their perseverance paid off. By staying until the very end, they secured a last-minute sale, demonstrating that sticking with it can lead to unexpected success.

Furthermore, they showed remarkable adaptability and initiative by approaching other stallholders. This taught them to think outside the box and find alternative ways to engage and succeed, even fostering community through craft swaps.

Ultimately, this challenging day provided a powerful real-world lesson in resilience, resourcefulness, and the importance of never giving up, skills far more valuable than just making a sale.

Our community gathered for a fantastic market day! It was a wonderful opportunity for our young people to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

We were incredibly impressed by the variety and quality of products on offer. From handmade crafts to books written by our talented young authors, there was something for everyone. The young vendors worked hard to attract customers and promote their wares, and their efforts were rewarded with plenty of praise and support.
